Candidates must have three or more years teaching experience and at some experience teaching English Learners

Candidates must hold a Masters Degree and/or additional coursework towards a terminal degree.

Education Specialist Department: Graduate English as a Second Language Program

The Education Specialist Department at Cabrini University seeks engaging educators to teach graduate education courses both online and on-campus as well as to supervise ESL certification students throughout their fieldwork. Courses are taught at a variety of locations within the Philadelphia region as well as on campus.

Responsibilities:

Provide effective classroom instruction using methods and materials appropriate to the subject matter

Prepare and grade all class assignments and examinations

Participate in faculty development activities

Maintain currency and depth of knowledge in working with English Language Learners

Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics

Teach both face-to-face, hybrid or online.

Supervise ESL certification candidates throughout their fieldwork requirements.
