The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Office Services, Coordinator.

Applications will be accepted until 5/29/2017.

Main responsibilities include:

  • 1. Center Receptionist: The Coordinator is the contact person for most facets of Kaneb Center activities. They are responsible for fielding inquiries and directing clients to the appropriate faculty and staff.

  • 2. Assistant to the Director: Assists in daily activities as delegated by the Director. These activities may include conference arrangements, email and phone correspondence, scheduling and other secretarial duties for the Director and professional staff.

  • 3. Program Coordinator: Coordination of the Fall and Spring Summer Workshop series, the Summer GRED program, Summer Reading Groups, New Faculty Teaching Workshop, and New TA Orientation.

  • 4. Event Organizer: Planning Kaneb Center events that include guest speakers, graduate and faculty workshops, and special events (such as Christmas lunch and end of year gatherings).

  • 5. Technical Office Services: Maintains the Kaneb Center web site, updating and printing the yearly Kaneb Center brochures, managing the Kaneb Center library, managing the Kaneb Center events/participant database, managing early semester student evaluation surveys, ordering office supplies, accounts payable/receivable, student hourly approval, security contact, and event coordinator contact.

  • 6. Hiring: Responsible for hiring student workers for the center. They also generate all hiring paperwork for student workers, faculty, and staff joining the Kaneb Center.



Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma required.
1 or more years of experience in higher education administrative support.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred
3 or more years of experience in higher education administrative support.
