Snite Museum Visitor Desk Associate


The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Snite Museum Visitor Desk Associate.

Applications will be accepted until 6/15/2017.

The Snite Museum is seeking friendly, outgoing individuals who would like to work as Visitor Desk welcome and information associates. Applicants ideally will have prior experience working in visitor services. Responsibilities include greeting visitors as they arrive into the Museum, answering questions about events and exhibitions, and general Museum information inquiries. No prior knowledge of art is necessary. We will train you.

Ideal candidates will work 15-20 hours a week. Schedules will be determined around classes or other commitments of the applicant.

Requirements: Friendly, outgoing, professional, good knowledge of campus locations and life, willingness to learn about Museum collection and operations. 2-3 people will be hired depending on time availability.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requirements: Previous experience in visitor services desirable. Friendly, outgoing, professional, good knowledge of campus locations and life, willingness to learn about Museum collection and operations.

This position also has the option to extend through the 2017-18 school year and beyond! If interested in adding duties of Museum Social Media Assistant duties while on shift, your salary will be adjusted higher. You will need to provide evidence of experience with Facebook/Instagram/ Twitter/Snapchat at interview if you would like to be considered for this additional duty.
