(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Responsible for data analysis and reporting departments. Coordinates with departments and other University stakeholders to gather data, analyze trends, develop graphs and generate operational and financial reports, including but not limited to; daily sales reports, report interpretation and trend analysis. Coordinates proactive problem identification and resolution through data collection, upgrade reports and interpretation. Collaborates with others to create, analyze and interpret reports to make data driven recommendations to leadership for quantitative business decisions.
Responsibilities
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Use of Banner, IBM Tririga, USG DataMart, and SAS for data collection and reporting.
2. Collaboration with CAD Specialist for updates in the IBM Tririga space database.
3. Execution of data cleansing, transformation, and visualization tasks.
4. Creation of dashboards and visualizations for communicating findings.
5. Conducting exploratory and statistical analysis for performance monitoring and insights.
6. Regular reporting to the University System of Georgia on space data.
7. Pulling and analyzing enrollment and classroom scheduling data from SAS.
8. Participation in space data initiatives and decision support through data modeling, mining, and statistical analysis.

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field

Some related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Advanced degree in a related field or measurable experience in the field of data analytics as a substitute for an analytics-specific undergraduate degree.
Proposed Salary

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
ABILITIES
Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly via dashboards and presentations
KNOWLEDGE
Space Database and/or Data Warehouse experience
Experience focus on space planning data including building, space, occupancy, utilization, class and event scheduling.
SKILLS
Proficiency in data models, queries and reports in Excel, Python or R, SQL, Tableau or PowerBI.
Strong skills in data validation, profiling and integrity checks.
