Primary Purpose of Position:
The position assists with preparation of significant reporting and assessment documents and also provides critical faculty and student support. This position assists faculty in achieving day-to-day teaching obligations, geared towards maintaining the Law School's mission of providing a quality legal education to prospective and existing students.
High School Diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office software with knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office 365. Superior interpersonal skills, attention to detail, coordination, leadership, problem-solving, confidentiality and organizational skills are required. He/she must possess strong communication skills, as well as the ability to independently prioritize work to meet deadlines. Candidate should demonstrate past administrative management experience that shows sound judgment, time and project management, problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to work as an effective team member. In addition, a demonstrated ability to interact with faculty, staff, students, and other university personnel and others outside of the university is also required. The selected candidate must also possess analytical and reasoning skills in order to evaluate policies and regulations at the university, state, and federal levels in a fast paced environment.
