Position Summary
The Division of Cardiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine/University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System are seeking a BC/BE Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join as faculty
Duties & Responsibilities
- The program offers a full spectrum of EP services, including atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia and SVT ablation as well as ICD, CRT and pacemaker device implantation. UIC has an active clinical and basic research program in Electrophysiology, and there will be opportunities to participate in activities at the Jessie Brown VA Medical Center. We especially welcome applicants who specialize in therapeutic approaches for atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, device implantations, and lead management, and have experience with outreach patient referrals. The ideal candidate will have a track record of research and peer-reviewed publications and will be encouraged to pursue his/her academic interests.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Rank/Tenure and compensation are dependent upon qualifications and experience. MD and training, and/or experience Board certification in clinical cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology are required.
