The Coordinator, Fraternity & Sorority Life (F&SL) is a key part of the Office Fraternity & Sorority Life and the Office of the Dean of Students. The Coordinator works closely with the Manager, F&SL and the Dean of Students to advise fraternities and sororities on becoming national models of values-based recruitment, leadership development, community service, academic performance, and cultural competency skills. The Coordinator plans, designs, and evaluates the area of F&SL in support of departmental goals and objectives; interacts on police investigations; and in responds to media inquiries and emergencies involving fraternity and sorority student involvement. The ideal candidate advises councils recognized by the university, including Honoraries. The Coordinator serves as a resource to the leadership of individual fraternities and sororities and designs, implements, and evaluates membership development programs as well as recruitment and retention programs for F&SL. Lastly, the Coordinator will support and participate in late night and weekend activities and emergencies in addition to maintaining regular business hours.
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR Master's Degree and one (1) year of related work experience
Related experience: leadership development, membership recruiting, academic or student services, community education
