Develop innovative initiatives that remove institutional barriers, excite students, and better promote teaching and learning (technical).
Create pathways for students to move from noncredit instruction to credit stackable credentials, to earn college credit (PLA), or a recognized industry certificate (NCEER).
Supervise dual credit, technical programs, corporate training, continuing education, correctional programs, truck driving, small business development center, and other duties as assigned.
Work with regional and statewide K12 superintendents to increase secondary market share.
Develop new technical programs and workforce courses.
May serve on local workforce boards and economic development committees.
Build a diverse portfolio of in-person, online training awards,and short-term certificates.
Pursue local, state, and federal funding opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Have five years of higher education experience.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to: remain in a stationary position for most of the time; occasionally move about inside an office to access documents, office equipment, etc.; and constantly operate a computer or other office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine.

Preferred Qualifications
An earned doctorate degree from a regionally accredited university.
Served as lead faculty, department chair, division chair, or above.
Have community college or technical college experience.
Knowledge of SACS, THECB, ACGM, Perkins, and GIPWE
