About the Opportunity:
The Enrollment Coordinator serves as the first point of contact (via significant phone, email, text, and in-person events) for all prospective students and will assist in the successful recruitment, enrollment, and matriculation of prospective students at the Roux Institute at Northeastern University.

The Enrollment Coordinator will be expected to demonstrate creative teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills to drive prospective student outreach and engagement.

Responsibilities:
Enrollment Coordinator duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:
  • Contact and pre-screen all new prospective student leads for qualification with the ultimate goal of scheduling a call or meeting with the appropriate Roux Enrollment Counselor or Assistant Director.
  • Work with Enrollment Operations and Marketing teams to identify and analyze trends in lead generation quality and volume.
  • Assist the Roux Enrollment Counselors and Assistant Directors by guiding prospective students to successfully navigate the admissions and enrollment process across all Roux Institute programs; assist in sending targeted email and text messaging to all prospective students in the funnel.
  • Advise prospective and incoming students on approaching important deadlines and upcoming events; participate in and facilitate prospective student information sessions, campus tours, and other enrollment-based events on campus.
  • Conduct regular lead reporting in Salesforce under the management of the Assistant Director of Enrollment Operations.
  • Maintain an appropriate knowledge-base for all top-of-funnel processes and best practices.
  • Build cross-team relationships with key Roux Institute and Northeastern team members.

    This position requires excellent interpersonal, phone, and email etiquette, a positive outgoing personality, and the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamically changing environment.

    A successful candidate will be a creative team player with a strong work ethic, organizational and time management skills, a demonstrated ability to successfully work independently, and is someone who actively contributes to the office welfare in a high volume environment.

    Individuals must be able to work in a metrics-driven position.

    Qualifications:
    Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, is required. Previous experience working in customer service, sales-based, or non-traditional college admissions roles is required.

    Experience in advising, call campaigns, and small- or large-group presentations is preferred. Experience using Salesforce, Google Suite, and Microsoft Suite (primarily Teams, Outlook, and Excel) is preferred. Experience working with various databases and systems software is a plus.

    Proven ability to work independently and with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be sensitive and responsive to the needs of diverse constituencies and managing goals.

    Highly organized and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit who is excited to work in a start-up environment!

    This position is based in Portland, ME and will require a flexible work schedule (primarily 9-5 Monday through Friday), including some nights and weekends for student-related events. Travel will be minimal but may be required periodically.
