Title: Project Coordinator, Advancing Workforce Equity Grant (Grant funded)

POSITION SUMMARY
The project coordinator provides coordination and project oversight for the Advancing Workforce Equity grant.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with representatives from all departments that are impacted by implementation of the grant. Prepare interim and annual performance reports. Implement and maintain grant assessment criteria and reports. Participate in all mandatory training workshops provided by the Institutional Effectiveness and/or Finance Office, including but not limited to best practices approach to grant management, audit-readiness and year-end closing requirements, as well as in any granting agency training.

Provide a copy of all program reports, grant award documents, completed grant assessments and any documentation reflecting agency approved revisions to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Workforce Development and the Finance Office. Maintain a calendar of significant deadlines for the grant. Organize and direct grant activities. Track program activities, participants and outcomes. Facilitate communication among all stakeholders, e.g. internal and external partners.

Ensure compliance with the grant agreement, all applicable federal, state and other laws listed in the grant award, as well as all College policies, including those related to year end closing and budget development. Ensure the budget and associated expenditures accurately reflect the approved budget awarded by the granting agency. Accurately monitor all expenditures over the course of the grant. Prepare and submit all required materials and fiscal transactions connected with the grant to Finance by the reporting deadlines. Maintain thorough and accurate records for audit purposes. Supervise grant personnel as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience managing federal grants

Experience with evaluation and data needs of workforce education programs

Prior experience with grant management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Familiarity with fiscal requirements of and budgets for grants. Strong communication skills, including oral, written and interpersonal. Ability to multitask and be responsive to time-sensitive requests. Ability to work collaboratively and independently on multiple related projects. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of evaluation and data needs of education programs.

Rate of Pay: $41,360 - $51,700 annually, depending on experience
