ACADEMIC PERSONNEL OFFICE SUPPORT (Administrative Support Coordinator I)

Primary Duties:
The Academic Personnel Support incumbent reports to the Assistant Director for Academic Personnel working independently under general supervision, in support of the Associate Vice President of Academic Personnel (AVP of Academic Personnel), the Director of Labor Relations, the Assistant Director for Academic Personnel Academic Personnel Coordinator, and the Labor Relations Support position, under general direction of the Assistant Director for Academic Personnel. Incumbent assists in the processing and compiling of sensitive data related to collective bargaining for Unit 3 and Unit 11 as well as in faculty RTP and recruitment. The incumbent will work both independently and collaboratively and is a primary contact and liaison between the Office of Academic Personnel and the Academic departments/units on the Chico campus. The incumbent will communicate daily with faculty, staff, students, and visitors to the Office of Academic Personnel, as well as other administrative units on campus, administrative units within the CSU System using discretion in communicating information as needed. The incumbent will provide continuity and stability to the office, oversight of daily operations, and exceptional customer services as the first point of contact.
