Job Duties:

-Teach assigned classes in keeping with approved syllabi, outlines, and instructional materials through classroom and lab instruction.
-Provide counsel/guidance to students when there is a need.
-Maintain accurate student accounting records in compliance with COM.



Minimum Education/Training/Experience:
- High School Diploma. Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Minimum 5 years work experience in the industrial or construction field. Including but not limited to Rigging but further experience in crane operations, heavy crane operations, and ironworker rigging a plus. - Forklift Operator license or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred Education/Training/Experience:
- Minimum of an Associates Degree or Certificate in Rigging.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
-Knowledge and understanding of transporting materials and equipment from one location to another.
-Knowledge and understanding of rated capacity, sling alignment, hitches and hardware attachments.
-Knowledge and understanding of manual, electric and overhead trolley hoists.
-Knowledge and understanding of ANSI hand signals.
