Responsibilities
The Department of Physics of the New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, Long Island Campus, is currently inviting immediate applications for Adjunct Instructor positions.

Teaching opportunities are available for both Day and Evening Classes. Most classes meet twice weekly. Salaries are competitive.

Responsibilities and duties, depending upon the specific course, may include:

Teaching Undergraduate Physics Lecture or Laboratory sections offered to a variety of majors in the fields of Architecture, Engineering, Life Sciences, Management, Communications Arts, and others.
Courses taught may include: Introductory Physics, Physics for the Modern Architect, Physics for Life Sciences, General Physics I and II for Scientists and Engineers, and Modern Physics.

Qualifications
Qualifications, Credentials, Experience: The successful candidate will have

(a) At least an M.S. in Physics Degree

(b) Fluent English Language Skills

(c) It is also desirable for the applicant to have experience teaching recitation, lecture or laboratory sections at the college level.
