Reports to: Associate Vice President of Enrollment/Director of Financial Aid
Description: The Administrative Assistant in the Office of Admission is an integral part of Carroll University's enrollment staff, which requires an enthusiastic, high energy individual, who is determined to see that prospective students and their families are served promptly, courteously, and appropriately.
Responsibilities:
Perform data entry, distribution and maintenance of all application credentials (application, transcript, school reports, personal statements, test scores).
Assist with front office operations which include greeting the public, answering telephones, receive, and refer University employees and visitors, and give general information concerning the department and/or the University.
Electronically move application fields from temp file to CRM database and then clean-up/add additional application data/contacts.
Provide phone and visit coordination back up.
Provide general office and clerical support to the department.
Assist with correcting data entry errors associated with direct mail.
Correct status and data entry problems within CRM.
Assist with the elimination of double ID's within CRM.
Assist with data entry of inquiries into CRM.
Assist with daily mail and office email account.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the University mission.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma/GED required, bachelor's degree preferred.
One year of experience in an office setting required
Data entry experience desirable
Technology Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to use University software to create & maintain student admissions records
Human Relations Skills:
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to listen effectively, work independently and as a part of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Customer service orientation
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
