The Department of Physics at Bryn Mawr College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin August 1, 2022. We seek an experimentalist in physics, applied physics or a related field to complement the department's experimental research programs in atomic physics, condensed matter physics, and plasma physics, as well as theoretical programs in astrophysics and high-energy physics. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and teaching of a diverse and inclusive curriculum, including interdisciplinary programs and college-wide initiatives such as the 360 Program and the Emily Balch Seminars. This candidate will also engage in independently defined, externally funded research in collaboration with both undergraduate and graduate students. Candidates must have completed all Ph.D. requirements by the start date. Postdoctoral experience is preferred.
