Worcester Polytechnic Institute's Humanities and Arts Department invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in modern global history. This is a one-year position that may be renewed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • WPI is seeking a full-time non-tenure track assistant teaching professor to teach modern global history. We prefer someone with ability to teach US and the world, Asia, the environment, or science & technology.

    Position Requirements

  • Ph.D. in history and experience teaching history at the college level are required. This 9-month faculty position starts in August 2018. WPI operates on 4 7-week terms. The new faculty will teach 2 courses per term.

    We will conduct phone or Skype interviews in spring 2018. Search will continue until positions are filled.
