Job Summary/Basic Function:
General Description:
This position serves as a member of the administrative support staff in the Division of University Advancement, providing support for the daily operations in the division and the coordination of the donor relations program. The individual in the position will also provide primary administrative support for the Associate Vice President for University Advancement, the Director of Gift Planning and the Major Gift Officers. The position reports report to the Associate Vice President for University Advancement.

Examples of work performed:
1. Administrative Support
Serve as the primary receptionist responsible for greeting visitors and answering incoming phone calls. Prepare memos, compose letters, generate routine business correspondence and process travel requests. Design and prepare reports for special projects. Manage mailing lists, enter data into the alumni database as directed. Collect and distribute incoming mail in rotation with other staff members. Responsible for the coordination and preparation of mailing projects. Coordinate and disseminate division calendar. Monitor and update the division's website.

2. Donor Relations
Prepare and manage correspondence to major gift donors on behalf of the President the Associate Vice President for University Advancement. Provide support for division and university mailings, events, and activities, including those related to the Centennial Campaign. Participate in other special outreach projects as assigned.

3. Millennium Database
Collect information and make updates in the Millennium database; conduct research upon request. Manage database projects as assigned to maintain accurate and current information.

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* Computer Literacy and knowledge of * Microsoft applications, familiarity with social media platforms
* Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and comply with established deadlines
* Strong communication skills, excellent listening and collaborative skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
* College Degree
* 2-3 years in development (preferred)
