Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Director of Video Production & Creative Services is responsible for the coordination of all areas within the video department and serves as the supervisor for the department. The position requires interaction with administration, marketing, media relations, campus constituents and coaches from all NCAA sports sponsored by Lamar University, the Southland Conference and various outside entities.

Essential Job Functions
1. Responsible for administering and monitoring game day video production and creative services for football, men's and women's basketball.

2. Oversee the day-to-day operations, streaming for all the ESPN3 and other streamed home games and any additional special events.

3. Responsible for archiving all home games, cutting and uploading all game highlights.

4. Assist to advance the Lamar University brand across all creative outlets. Directly responsible to create photo, graphic and video content for digital distribution across all platforms to achieve Athletics Department goals.

5. Supervises a full-time production assistant and is responsible for the supervision and training of interns and student videographers.

6. Responsible for the inventory, maintenance, repairs and coordination of all use of video equipment for Lamar University sponsored NCAA sports.

7. Responsible for producing all home football games for video scoreboard.

8. Responsible for filming/editing/producing video content for press conferences, championship events, and post game interviews for all sports.

9. Responsible for the production of additional outside athletics events (high school football, basketball, etc.) that are held at Lamar University athletic facilities.

10. Assist in athletics events as well as perform other duties assigned by the Athletics Director.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required

Supervisory experience required

Strict adherence to established NCAA, Southland Conference, Texas State University System, and Lamar University rules and regulations. A violation of these rules and regulations can lead to disciplinary action including termination.

Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree preferred

Demonstrated experience in a collegiate athletics program preferred
