Job Summary / Basic Function
SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment (EDIEA) reports to the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives (VPSI). The EDIEA performs highly advanced research that involves leading the development of datasets to inform decision making; designs and carries out studies that contribute to the institution's capacity and mission; including the achievement of strategic goals, TSUS Vision 2020/2025, and THECB 6030TX Plan targets. This position is also responsible for program review and viability, assessment using Xitracs (or other types of software), budgeting, grants, evaluation, student assessment, and tracking. The EDIEA will serve as the institution's backup SACSCOC accreditation liaison.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Education:
Three years of work experience in a related field in higher education with an earned masters degree from a regionally accredited university.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Education:
Five years of work experience in a related field in higher education, skills in Banner, Starfish, Argos, Microsoft Office applications, and a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited university.
