Position Summary
St. Anthony Catholic High School is seeking a Head Boys & Girls Tennis Coach. The coach will assume all responsibility for growing the Tennis teams into a competitive program. The coach will teach and coach within the mission of St. Anthony Catholic High School and our Core Values of Honesty & Integrity; Community; Service & Social Justice; Scholarship; Holistic Education.

Description of Job Duties
1. Organize, prepare for and lead productive practice sessions in a positive environment that promotes self esteem, teamwork and pride for St. Anthony Yellow Jackets.
2. Organize and direct individual and small group practice activities/exercises.
3. Communicate regularly with team, parents and athletic directors.
4. Attend all practices throughout the season.
5. Participates in special activities which include parents night, banquets, award night and pep rallies.
6. Attends staff meetings, clinics and other professional activities to improve coaching and performance.
7. Performs any other related duties as assigned by the athletic director and principal.

Description of Job Duties
Responsible for three (3) fundraising events throughout the year.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills to teach both offensive and defensive skills necessary to field a competitive team.
Need thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, and techniques of Tennis.
Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with school administrators, teachers, parents and students.
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
Required Education
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Required Work Experience
2 yrs experience at High School (assistant or head coach)
3 yrs. experience at Club level.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree; experience as a player at the collegiate or professional level.
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
CPR certified or CPR certified within 15 days of hire.
Must have a CDL (Commercial Drivers License) or CDL must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
