HIRING COMPLIANCE OFFICER (HOURLY, NONACADEMIC, ON-CALL AS NEEDED)

Monitor the paper screening and/or interviewing process and bring problems to the attention of Human Resources.
Be in attendance at every selection committee meeting and privy to all discussions surrounding the recruitment.
Assure that the questions asked are job related and that the screening committee does not add any questions that are not job related.
Assist the search committee in keeping all conversations relating to candidates completely job related.
Must be objective and unbiased in their analysis.
Complete HCO questionnaire for each Committee.
Coordinate and present personnel training programs and informational presentations including new employee orientation, hiring committee training, and related presentations as required.

Any combination equivalent to: a Bachelor's Degree with a major in human resources management, business administration, public administration, or related field. Four years of increasingly responsible professional public personnel or related experience including two years of supervisory and management experience. A Masters degree in business administration or a related field is desirable. Retired Vice President or Director of Human Resources preferred.

SALARY: $50.00 per hour.

STARTING DATE:
As soon as the successful candidate is identified and following the subsequent governing board approval.
