Job Summary/Basic Function:
Provide instruction support for mechatronics functions in the lab and classroom settings.

Assists instructor with paperwork and project set up

Assists students in understanding mechatronics concepts

Assists with creating and maintaining lab environment and work stations

Assists with grant student follow up and program tracking

Organizes, promotes, coordinates and conducts specific activities to carry forward the requirements of the program directives

Assists with equipment maintenance, proper tool care, establishing and implementing security process including tool inventory

Performs other duties as required within the scope of the position

Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of experience in industrial machine maintenance or completion of Mechatronics certificate
Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing concepts
Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
Ability to work effectively as part of team
