Position Summary:
The School of Education's Dean's Office is seeking student employee applicants to be a part-time Office Assistant.

Our student employees are an important part of our work community! Joining the School of Education (SOE) team will provide the opportunity to work closely with our faculty and staff. Working in this position will also allow students to become acclimated to working in professional office setting and the opportunity to strengthen their organizational skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and time management skills. #LI-DNI

Duties/Responsibilities:
Answer and route phone calls and take detailed messages
Guide visitors and students to appointments
Assist in scheduling advising appointments
Make conference room reservations
Process confidential paperwork
Distribute mail
Check items in and out of Education Resource Library, produce library reports, and enter library inventory into library software
Complete data entry, copy, scan, and editing projects
Make deliveries
Complete various other projects as needed

Required Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Microsoft Office knowledge
Reliable and Professional
Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters
GPA of at least 2.0
