    Job Description
    The Department of Pediatrics' Division at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine seeks candidates for two full-time (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) Pediatric Physician positions. Salary, rank, and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications and experience.

    Duties include providing care to children and adolescents in relation to nature and extent of disease or injury. These positions require excellent clinical and teaching skills and experience necessary to precept and evaluate medical students and residents. The University of Nevada Reno, School of Medicine is affiliated with the Renown Children's Hospital and the Renown Health Medical Group in Reno, NV. All Pediatric faculty members share call and weekend/holiday coverage. The incumbent will be appointed in the section appropriate to the sub-specialty. Generalists and sub-specialists are encouraged to apply. The incumbent will also be expected to participate in healthcare education (medical students, PA students, NP students) and support clinical research and scholarly activity.

    Required Qualifications
    Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and be board-certified/board-eligible in pediatric or adolescent medicine. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted NV medical license, malpractice insurance, and able to be successfully credentialed by Northern Nevada teaching hospitals and facilities.

    Preferred Qualifications
    -Individuals with GME experience are encouraged to apply.
    -All generalists and sub-specialties in Pediatrics are encouraged to apply.
    -Candidates with interest in working on the development of a Pediatrics Residency Program are encouraged to apply.
    -Candidates with an interest in leadership are also welcome.
