Basic Function:
As part of its Neuroscience Initiative, WPI invites applications for an open rank tenured or tenure-track position in Neuroscience to begin in the fall of 2019.

Responsibilities:
  • Applicants should have a strong track record in computational neuroscience research and a Ph.D. in the life sciences, computer science, biomedical engineering, psychology, or a closely related discipline. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a robust, externally funded neuroscience research program that complements and intersects areas such as, but not limited to: cognitive neuroscience, neuroimaging, neuroimmunology, connectomics, systems biology, bioinformatics, computational biology and machine learning. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the newly established Neuroscience Initiative at WPI (www.wpi.edu/+neuroscience) which promotes broader campus-wide cross-disciplinary activities in neuroscience. This initiative stimulates collaborations between research groups with different expertise including biology, computer science, biomedical engineering, data science, physics, chemistry, and behavior.
