Student Ambassador and Operations Coordinator

Reports to: Associate Vice President for Enrollment/Director of Financial Aid
Description: The Student Ambassador and Operations Coordinator is an integral part of Carroll University's enrollment staff, which requires an enthusiastic, high energy individual, who is determined to see that prospective students and their families are served promptly, courteously, and appropriately.
Responsibilities:
Serve as primary supervisor and lead for over 60 student ambassadors assigned to the Admission's Office.
Recruit, hire, train, schedule, evaluate and perform other required administrative tasks relating to student staff including financial aid tracking
Develop and manage schedules for student ambassadors
Prepare and administer training materials for student ambassadors
Supervise campus visitor scheduling for all prospective student visits
Know, understand, and enforce all applicable policies and procedures related to the university and scheduling of campus visits
Assistant with database management
Provide support for communication campaigns in Carroll's recruitment database
Printing and dissemination of outgoing daily and bulk mailings
Manage inventory of admission publications
Support front office operations (which include office mail, phone, data entry, and visitor reception)
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred.
Minimum one year of administrative office or related experience is required.
Higher education work experience with knowledge of best practices is preferred
Technology Skills:
Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to use database software.
Ability to use and maintain voice mail and e-mail.
Human Relations Skills:
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Customer service orientation.
Ability to multi-task and reprioritize responsibilities.
Ability to work in fast-paced and high energy environment.
Ability to listen effectively, work independently and as a part of a team.
