The Department of Mathematics at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) invites applications for two Temporary Lecturer positions in Mathematics beginning in August 2018. Responsibilities include teaching four lower-level courses each semester, such as Statistics, College Algebra, Pre-calculus, Business Calculus, and Mathematics for Elementary & Middle School Teachers, and service to the Department. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is intended for two semesters (Fall 2018 and Spring 2019).

Candidates must hold an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or in a closely related field and must have proven experience or ability to teach effectively university level mathematics courses using a variety of appropriate methodologies including online.
