Director, Annual Giving, Stakeholder Engagement, and Stewardship

St. Thomas Aquinas College seeks a dynamic leader for Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement to drive fundraising, donor participation, and alumni events. This role manages multi-channel campaigns, analytics, and Raiser's Edge, ensuring data integrity and effective donor outreach. Responsibilities include evaluating campaign performance, refining strategies, and coordinating key events like Homecoming, the Clay Shooting Tournament, Feast Day activities, the Hall of Fame Dinner, and Commencement Week. Collaboration with colleagues on fundraising and engagement initiatives is essential.


Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Lead the Annual Fund campaign to increase donor participation, retention, and giving through strategic outreach and engagement.
Develop and manage direct mail appeals, acknowledgments, and pledge reminders to drive renewals and upgrades.
Strengthen alumni and parent giving through reunion events, special class gifts, and engagement initiatives.
Oversee the Alumni Association Board, ensuring involvement in fundraising, stewardship programs, and matching gift initiatives.
Plan and execute key fundraising and alumni events, including Homecoming, the Hall of Fame Dinner, Commencement Week, and other engagement activities.
Secure sponsorships, auction items, and constituent participation to maximize fundraising success.
Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to promote fundraising initiatives, update Advancement content, and enhance donor outreach.
Identify and cultivate prospective major gift donors in coordination with senior leadership.
Ensure successful event execution, including budgeting, logistics, multi-channel promotions, and post-event evaluation.
Maintain donor records, track giving trends, and provide insights to improve fundraising strategies.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required; 5+ years of experience in IA for a non-profit cultural organization or institution of higher education preferred.
Understanding of social media channels, database platforms and networks. Raiser's Edge or similar CRM data system experience and proficiency is preferred.
Understanding and experience in developing and aggregating digital content.
Experience with digital content program executions; understanding appropriate reach and effective performance metrics.
Collaboration and cross functional work across campus and with external mission-centric partners.
Financial literacy and understanding budget management and reconciliation.
Must have an outgoing, energetic, entrepreneurial, and collaborative personality and outlook.
Must be a good listener to capture the voice of Alumni and Parents in the engagement and exchange of offerings and activities.
An initiative-taking willingness to learn and strive to continually grow in the execution of the role and demonstrate a passion for professional growth.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $75,000-$90,000/year.
