The College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago, vitally connected to our local area for over 50 years. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Promote and maintain a welcoming and safe environment for Library patrons that is conducive to research and learning.
Qualifications:
- Education
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year college preferred.
- Experience
- 6 months working with the public required.
- Proficiency in spoken English required.
- 1 year working in a library preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and comfort with conflict resolution.
Working Conditions:
Part-Time Work Schedule:
Week One:
Monday-Thursday: 1:00pm-6:00pm
Week Two:
Monday-Thursday: 2:00pm-6:00pm
Saturday: 12:00pm-4:00pm
Hiring Range:
Starting pay begins at $17.59/hr. based on experience.
Competitive starting pay is dependent on education and experience. College of DuPage also offers regular part-time positions a variety of fringe benefits including retirement benefits, access to holiday pay, personal time and other discounts on classes.
