Program Coordinator I, IAMP Extension
Location: Off Campus Location - Remote

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs, and may serve as first point of contact for the unit.
Duties may include:
- Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions
- Facilitating communicating between program participants and managerial staff
- Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets
- Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records
- Maintaining program calendars and schedules
- May utilize University programs to create, review and approval financial documents, and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions
- Composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials
- Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Education, Agricultural Education (Extension), Environmental Education, Natural Resources or other related field
- Proven record of working as part of a collaborative team to support project leadership
- Experience with inter-institutional, interdisciplinary project management
- Technical training or advanced degree in a discipline related to the project
- Experience with production agriculture or agriculture-related businesses
- Experience and skills relevant to design and layout of written and electronic promotional materials
- Extensive understanding of land grant university administered Extension systems
- Willingness to periodically travel to IAMP related events, trainings and meetings as required
