Coordinator, Administrative Program Non-JD Programs

Job Summary

Plans and implements activities and programs within the Non-JD department of the S.J. Quinney College of Law, ensuring goals and objectives are in accordance with established criteria. Interprets program policies and advises program participants on the application of regulations.
Position works full time in office 8-5, Monday-Friday with remote work flexibility after a probationary period.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversees daily program operations and coordinates program activities for the Master of Legal Studies program.
  2. Implements program goals and objectives.
  3. Monitors program quality and effectiveness and researches improvement methods.
  4. Advises staff, students and others regarding program policies, goals and related technical issues.
  5. Prepares reports, financial statements and records on program status and progress for management and outside agencies.
  6. Writes and edits program related publications and promotional or educational materials.
  7. Manages application cycle logistics and communications.
  8. Manages communications and projects with College of Law & campus partnerships to develop and maintain relationships as well as promote and integrate program operations.
  9. Administratively assisting and supporting the MLS Non-JD Academic Program Manager and the Director of Non-JD programs.
  10. Supports program faculty with successfully conducting online and in person courses.
  11. Supports program recruitment initiatives.
  12. Supports student success, well-being, and special case management.
  13. Coordinate all aspects of the daily office environment including, but not limited to, office maintenance, ordering office supplies, and other duties to ensure the office operates smoothly and efficiently.
  14. May perform other duties including accounting support, reception, payroll, facilities, maintenance, supply management, and various "back office" functions.
  15. Assist in planning department activities, manage meeting calendars, and make travel arrangements.
  16. Create and maintain files, compile reports, and manage, store, and disseminate information, ensuring security and compliance of information.
  17. Remain knowledgeable about program policies and procedures.
  18. Assists with all administrative functions related to Non-JD programs (including the Master of Legal Studies).

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), plus one year of directly related experience

Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
