P21 - Step 1 - $64,340.11
Internal Applicants' salary will be based on union negotiated contract

JOB SUMMARY:
The Systems/Curriculum Analyst - Academic Systems plays a key role in the management, maintenance, and support of the College's academic technology platforms, including CourseDog and DegreeWorks. This position ensures the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of academic systems and supports cross-campus collaboration to implement curriculum changes, maintain the academic catalog, and enhance the student academic experience.
Examples of Duties
Key Responsibilities:
CourseDog Administration
- Manage and maintain the CourseDog system to support curriculum and catalog management functions.
- Design, manage, and optimize curriculum forms, system workflows, timelines, and user permissions for CourseDog.
- Create and revise academic content, as needed, in alignment with approved curriculum and academic policy changes.
- Manage and review system integrations, in partnership with ITS, to ensure efficiency and optimal functionality.
- Monitor system functionality and troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with ITS or external vendors.
Catalog and Curriculum Support
- Coordinate regular updates and production of the RCNJ College Catalog.
- Develop timelines, engage stakeholders and communicate with College constituents in the catalog development process.
- Collaborate with academic units and administrative offices to ensure catalog content is accurate and up to date.
- Communicate curricular changes to the Assistant Registrar for implementation in degree audit tools (DegreeWorks) as needed.
- Serve as a backup to the Assistant Registrar in the administration and ongoing maintenance of DegreeWorks, including troubleshooting and system updates.
- Ensure accuracy of curriculum in ancillary systems such as DegreeWorks.
- Review curriculum proposals and provide curricular support to the Academic.
- Review Committee (ARC) in reflecting desired outcomes in curricular platforms.
- Prepare reports on curriculum proposals, change and curricular metrics as needed.
Training and Campus Support
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops, small groups or one-on-one sessions related to curriculum work and the CourseDog system.
- Identify training needs across departments and provide targeted training and support for users of CourseDog.
- Assume other system/curricular duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required and 2+ years related experience
- Experience with academic systems such as CourseDog, DegreeWorks, or similar platforms.
- Experience with training and technical documentation is a plus.
Additional Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with academic and administrative stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize work and accomplish tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
