Examples of Duties

Job Summary

Ramapo College of New Jersey is searching for one or more adjunct professors of Political Science.
Teach up to two American Government and Policy courses. Candidates should expect to teach courses such as Introduction to Public Policy, State & Local Government, and American Government. Adjuncts are hired on an as needed basis.

Compensation:
Fall 2025/Spring 2026 Semesters- $2,100 per credit.

Organizational Security Responsibilities: This position requires adherence to the organization's information security policies and procedures. All employees share responsibility for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's mission essential IT assets, regardless of role. Individuals in this role are expected to apply appropriate safeguards, participate in required security awareness training, and promptly report potential security incidents in accordance with institutional policies.

Qualifications

Candidates must have either a PhD in Political Science or advanced ABD status.
