CSN Part-Time Business Counselor Intern

Job Description

The CSN Part-Time Business Counselor Intern is responsible for assisting the Business Counselor in providing professional business advising services to pre-venture, early stage and growth companies. The position requires strong interpersonal skills as well as problem solving, decision-making, and time management skills. Duties include:

  • Support the Business Counselor in presenting and coordinating training seminars.
  • Support the Business Counselor in providing comprehensive advising services in areas such financial analysis and budgeting, capital formation, marketing, marketing research, business plan development, strategic planning, human resources, and other business relate issues through research.
  • Support the Business Counselor in assisting clients in analyzing business strengths and weaknesses and developing strategies for improvement.
  • Will work with the Nevada Grow Management team to ensure timely reporting.

Required Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Customer service experience of one to two years.
  • Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce.
  • Possess excellent written, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic web management and social media platforms.


$20,000 Flat Rate, paid out over 6 monthly installments.

This position is contingent upon grant funding.
