Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno is hiring a Human Resources Manager at the classification of Personnel Analyst 2 for the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources (CABNR). This position will serve as the HR Manager for CABNR, including Cooperative Extension (UNCE), and the Nevada Agricultural Experiment Station (NAES), statewide. Responsibilities are in the areas of staffing, recruitment and onboarding; employee development and retention; employee relations; human capital management (HCM) and payroll management; and supervision of transactional HR staff.

Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field and two years of progressively responsible professional personnel experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A valid driver's license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.

Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with HR coordination, staffing management & recruitment, employee development & retention, employee relations & conflict resolution, and/or supervisory experience are encouraged to apply.

Schedule
The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs.

This position requires occasional travel.
