(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.  

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

 

Responsible for ensuring drivers comply with University parking policies and local laws on the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses. Patrols campus and remote parking facilities for parking compliance and issues driving/parking citations.

Responsibilities

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operates a License Plate Recognition (LPR) software vehicle
2. Issues parking citations and applies boots as needed
3. Educates campus community on parking rules and regulations
4. Ensures all parking facilities are clean and well maintained
5. Troubleshoots issues with parking controls
6. Maintains required daily, weekly, and monthly reports and vehicle inspection forms
7. Performs facility maintenance and parking event operations
8. Maintains cleanliness of interior and exterior assigned LPR vehicle
9. Assists manager with training new employees and coaches the Student Assistant Parking Ambassadors
 

Required Qualifications

 

Educational Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent

Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license

Required Experience
Three (3) years relevant work experience in parking, events, transit, operations, or customer service

Preferred Qualifications

 

Preferred Experience
Previous experience in higher education and parking operations preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

 

ABILITIES
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

KNOWLEDGE
Familiarity with LPR software
Knowledge of local and University parking ordinances

SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, technology, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite) 
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills 
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
