Responsibilities
New York Institute of Technology Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering seeks an adjunct professor to teach in the MS Bioengineering Program for its BIO620 (Statistics for Biomedical Engineers) course at its Long Island (Old Westbury) campus.



Qualifications
Successful candidates will teach the MS Bioengineering course BIO620 (Statistics for Biomedical Engineers). The course provides an introduction to selected important topics in bio statistical concepts and reasoning. Specific topics include tools for describing central tendency and variability in data; methods for performing inference on population means and proportions via sample data; statistical hypothesis testing and its application to group comparisons; issues of power and sample size in study designs; and analysis of single-subject and small-group data. Classroom Hours- Laboratory and/or Studio Hours- Course Credits: 3-0-3. The instructor should teach theory in conjunction with a statistical software package (SAS, SPSS, R, etc.).

The class is from 5:45 8:25 pm on Wednesdays (the day is flexible to some extent) at New York Institute of Technology Long Island campus.
