Assistant Athletics Trainer for Wrestling, UTC Athletics–Requisition # 180000012S
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a NCAA Division I and Southern Conference member, seeks a highly motivated professional for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer for Wrestling.

Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting Director of Sport Medicine with the coordination and delivery of Athletic Training and Sports medicine services for Wrestling student-athletes which includes but is not limited to: assist in maintaining athletic training facilities; inventory of equipment and supplies; participate in meetings, athletic clinics, and camps; supervise athletic training students; handle treatment scheduling; maintain medical records; and maintain/update rehabilitation progress reports and report injuries to NEXTT injury and illness data system while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field; NATABOC certification; eligible for licensure in Tennessee; Minimum three years of athletic training experience; effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in in Athletic Training or related field; experience with intercollegiate wrestling, experience with Web-based Injury Tracking System

Salary: This is a 12-month, exempt position, salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
