Position Summary:
Responsible for providing instruction within the Chemistry Program. This position will support General Studies and the Chemical Engineering program. Develop and revise curriculum and course work. Provide scheduled office hours for student consultation. Serves on College committees as needed and assigned. Participate in student orientated instructional and advisement activities as needed and assigned.


Job Duties:
Prepare, develop, revise curriculum and course work.
Meet classes as scheduled.
Complete paperwork/tests and issue student grades as scheduled.
Maintain office hours for student consultation.
Manage Lab Operations.
Serve on committees as needed and assigned.
Other duties as appropriate to the position.


Minimum Education/Training/Experience:
M.S./Ph.D. and 18 graduate hours in Chemistry.
Some teaching experience in chemistry courses.


Preferred Education/Training/Experience:
M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry
Some teaching experience in chemistry courses at a community or two-year college.


Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to teach chemistry courses.


Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to teach chemistry courses.
