PT - Adult Education Distance Learning Specialist

Position Number: AS92P

Mid Point Salary Range: $17/hour

Position Type: Non-Exempt Staff

Position Summary:
Develops, coordinates, and implements relevant Adult Education program requirements; Create, provide, and offer pathways for Adult Education students into college based vocational/degree plans. Interpret, monitor and report students' progress in meeting their academic/career goals as outlined in the Adult Education's strategic plan.

Job Duties:

Directly assist DL Coordinator with training and supervision
Develop training material for teachers and students
Assist with all data entry and record keeping
Manage the laptop computer loan programs
Assist individual teachers and students as needed
Maintain a high level of expertise with COM Network, Aztec, Blackboard, and Burlington English
Monitor teacher and students use of DL resources
Some travel to off-campus sites used for instruction.
Perform other duties as required



Minimum Education/Training/Experience:
Bachelors Degree Experience with online learning resources

Preferred Education/Training/Experience:
Experience with online learning resources

Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
Comfort with technology including both computers and mobile devices
Use software application programs such as Microsoft Office
Public Speaking;
Excellent Communication, interpersonal skills
Ability to interact well with coworkers, immediate supervisor, the general public
