Job Description:

Madison College has an opportunity for a Part-time Custodian to join our team. This role involves hands-on manual tasks related to a range of custodial duties. What sets this position apart from other custodians is the level of effort and autonomy it demands. While receiving instructions from supervisors or lead custodians, it doesn't oversee peers at the same level and isn't the sole custodian for a particular building. The Engineering/Operations Manager or Facilities Custodial Supervisor provides guidance, with potential additional input from the custodial lead worker for exceptional tasks. This position may also involve directing the work of and receive assistance from student help, temporary workers, and work study personnel.

Regularly scheduled Monday - Friday 8:00pm - 12:00am.

Madison College's dedication to promoting equity, inclusion, and diversity is reflected in our Mission, Vision, and Values. We believe every member on our team enriches our diversity by exposing us to a broad range of ways to understand and engage with the world, identify challenges, and to discover, design, and deliver solutions. We value the ability to serve students from a broad range of cultural heritages, socioeconomic backgrounds, genders, abilities, and orientations. Therefore, we seek applicants who demonstrate they understand the benefits of diversity in a higher education community. Hiring a diverse workforce that mirrors our student population is more than just a commitment at Madison College-it is the foundation of what we are striving to do. Come be part of our great team!
