Program Supervisor

About the Opportunity

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

The N.U.in Program is one of Northeastern's signature first-year experiences - an experiential and academic program that expands students' Northeastern education into worldwide locations.

The Program Supervisor facilitates everyday operations for a pathway program; serves as a point of contact with the partner for day-to-day operational work to ensure that the program services are provided efficiently and effectively.

The Program Supervisor collaboratively fosters a warm and welcoming community where members demonstrate concern for those within and without their community and that challenges students to acknowledge and overcome their assumptions in the pursuit of mutual respect for individuals of diverse cultures, life experience, and beliefs.

The Program Supervisor troubleshoots issues and ensures quality in collaboration with the Assistant Director and the Student Success Manager. This work typically involves organizing logistics and coordinating a variety of program activities, as well as on-call duty. The Program Supervisor contributes to student development and associated programming, monitoring, and evaluation activities. Other responsibilities include routine handling of financial transactions and marketing and events administration.

Note regarding duration: The Program Supervisor role may be a six month appointment depending upon need.

The role is a full-time, benefits-eligible position that requires the person in this role to live on-site with students at one or more N.U.in locations globally. During the fall semester, this individual will live on-site and oversee the operations for one N.U.in Program location.

The Program Supervisor will collaborate with other campus partners on program planning projects and specific goals (e.g., communications, enrollment, yield) to ensure student and programmatic success.

Additional Information: Site staff on-site assignment decisions are made on an on-going basis. Our aim is to build teams that will work well together to fulfill the mission of the university, and as such location assignments are subject to change based on the program management needs. Cultural and language experience in the regions we operate, and location preferences are considered. Careful attention is given to everyone's skills and experience.
