Job Description

The Senior Analyst - Instructional Designer (E-Learning) works with faculty as part of a team of designers and developers to apply instructional systems design procedures in educational program development; develop instructional models for a variety of subject matter areas and settings; match instructional strategies to student learning styles; and evaluates, selects, and integrates new technologies into instructional systems focusing on asynchronous teaching and learning. Additionally, this position provides comprehensive support for faculty and students in the use of web-based instructional materials and educational technology software and applications. Troubleshoot instructor and student issues on specific courses or system wide issues. Provide training to instructors and students.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college/university and 3 years of full-time related or comparable professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree from a regionally accredited college/university
  • Knowledge of instructional design theories and strategies
  • Demonstrated experience with online learning best practices
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Experience working collaboratively with team members to produce online learning courses
  • Familiarity with HTML, Dreamweaver or Front Page
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Knowledge of copyright laws, rules, and regulations and ADA standards
  • Familiarity with Canvas or Blackboard
  • Ability to integrate new technologies into instructional systems
  • Experience working as a CMS administrator
  • Ability to work well with a diverse, multicultural student and employee population
